Maple Leafs Unveil Third Sweater For 2011-12 Season

Former team captains Darryl Sittler and Wendel Clark joined current Maple Leafs LUKE SCHENN and COLBY ARMSTRONG in the unveiling of the Original Six franchise’s third sweater Friday. The third sweater for 2011-12 is a familiar one to loyal followers of the Blue and White. The sweater, which is blue, is an identical throwback to the 1967 to 1970 time period in team history.

The Toronto Maple Leafs will wear their third sweater uniform for the following games in 2011-12:

• November 5 vs. Boston
• November 12 vs. Ottawa
• November 19 vs. Washington
• December 3 at Boston
• December 5 at New York Rangers
• December 17 vs. Vancouver
• January 7 vs. Detroit
• January 13 at Buffalo
